Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)

This qualification replaces the old PTTLS qualification and is appropriate for teachers, tutors and trainers who work within an FE college, Adult and Community learning centre or learning provider.

An introduction to teaching and covers topics including, roles and responsibilities of a teacher, Planning and delivering inclusive sessions and assessing learning within education and training.

This course is 45 guided learning hours, however, the course can be completed via e-learning from the comfort of your own home and in your own time and pace and then submitting your assignments through our online platform for assessment. The short micro-teach session can be assessed via Zoom. The learner portfolio will be assessed online.

Once you are registered for this course you will be sent a link to our learning platform where you can work at your own pace and submit work when completed. You will find all the resources you require, as well as the guidance, support and assistance from a qualified teacher and assessor. 

Must be 19yrs of age or over and have a level 2 in English.
