Level 3 course in Surveillance Techniques and Training
Description
A course aimed at learners who either wish to pursue a career as a Surveillance Operative, or for those who already work within that specialised field who wish to enhance their own knowledge, understanding, and competency.
It can also compliment those who intend to, or who already work within enforcement sectors or investigation roles.
The course is run over 2- weeks and involves the learner completing some distance learning workbooks prior to the course commencing based on the knowledge elements, that then enables the learner to spend the remainder of the course on practical assessments.
The course will be assessed through a learner portfolio and practical assessments.
All materials and resources will be given to the learner to complete their workbooks at their own convenience and in their own time prior to the course.
When in the classroom you will also complete other assessments such as an Operational Plan for a live assessment, and you will complete daily surveillance tasks on live subjects in order to gain intelligence and evidence.
At present this is a pilot programme of learning so it is not accredited with any awarding body, however that it what we are aiming to achieve. However, upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion which you can use towards your own Continued Professional Development, (100Hrs of learning on your CPD)
