Door supervisors are often the first point of contact between many businesses and members of the public. It is important therefore that they are effectively trained and meet legal requirements in what can be a challenging environment.
The Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor Private Security Industry (Refresher) is for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualifications requirements.
Based on the SIA’s own specifications and updated (October 2024) to meet the latest requirements.,
To complete this qualification learners are expected to undertake approximately 21 hours of learning. The SIA stipulates a minimum of 11 hours and 15 minutes contact time(1.5-days) if self-study is undertaken.
We use Blended Learning which means you complete the knowledge element at home and in your own time through completing a workbook and ACT certification, then attend our centre to complete practical assessments and a multi-choice examination.

Prerequisites
Must hold a Level 1 or equivalent in English, or complete our own English assessment prior to the course commencing.
Must also hold a Door Supervision Licence and undergone accredited training and wish to renew this.
