Description
This qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding that is required to enter the Spectator Safety Sector. Specifically suited to volunteers at spectator events who support more experienced staff. Upon completion the learner will meet the requirements at section 4.10.b of the Guide to safety at Sports Grounds, or, The Green Guide,
It covers how to prepare for events, assist with the movement of spectators, deal with crowd issues, manage and resolve conflicts, deal with incidents at spectator events and support the work of the team and organisation.
The learner should undertake further training and an assessment of competency to obtain the Level 2 Certificate in Spectator safety if they wish to remain employed within the sector.
This qualification is assessed through a learner portfolio which is submitted and assessed online via our own learning platform.
Guided learning hours is 36 hours.
Once you have been registered you will receive a direct log on link to our online learning portfolio where you will also receive support, advice and guidance from your tutor/assessor.

Must be 16yrs of age or above.
