Description
7 days in duration, Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (RQF) with a FREE 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work qualification which as from the 1st April 2021 is now a mandatory requirement for all new learners to the security industry.
Covers the four mandatory units:
Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry.
Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry.
Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry & Application of Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry.
The course is assessed through multiple choice examinations for each unit, plus practical assessments throughout.
Once you have achieved this qualification it will allow you to apply to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) for your Door Supervisor Licence which will be valid for 3-years.
Prerequisites
Must be over 18yrs of age to apply for a Door Supervisor Licence.
Must hold a Level 1 in English as elements of the role once qualified will include liaising with the emergency services and providing clear and professional statements.
It is also a Mandatory requirement from both the Governing Body (SIA) and our Awarding Bodies, that the First Aid Element must be completed before you can continue onto the Security element of the course, anyone failing to complete this prior to the course commencing will be unable to continue, this is a mandatory requirement and is non-negotiable.
