Description
Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance) in the Private Security Industry (RQF) qualification over 3-days.
Covers the two mandatory units.
Principles of Working in the Private Security Industry.
Principles and Practices of Working as a CCTV Operator in the Private Security Industry.
Course is assessed through multiple choice examinations and practical assessments throughout the course.
Once the qualification has been achieved it will allow the learner to apply to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) for their CCTV Licence.
Prerequisites
Must be over 18yrs of age to apply for an SIA Licence.
Learner must have a Level 1 in English as part of the role of a CCTV Operator will include liaising with the emergency services and providing clear, concise and professional statements.
