Level 3 Award in the Safe Use of Mechanical Restraints (Handcuffs) (RQF)

Description

A 1 - day course covering the required knowledge to be able to use handcuffs safely within your role.

Understanding the different forms of mechanical restraints, legislation relevant to the role, safe working practices, importance of reporting incidents and to be able to safely apply and remove handcuffs and other mechanical restraints.

Course is assessed by a small workbook completed by the learner as well as practical assessments. 

Prerequisites

Must be Over 18yrs of Age.
